If You Have Not Got a Promotion and Salary Increase It Is Not Because of Your Employer

Are you been overlooked for the promotion once again? Who is to be blamed for this situation? Most of us tend to blame our employers or try shifting the blame on to someone else. The fact is that if you have been denied a promotion or salary raise then it is most likely that the blame rests with you.
It is usually hard to accept responsibility as most of us find it easier to blame others for not been successful in life. If you are in a particular situation it is because of your mistakes. The unhappiness that you experience is because of the choices that you had made.
When you start taking responsibility, you are actually gaining a lot of power to control your thoughts and subsequent actions. You may find yourself opening up to new possibilities and opportunities.
Realization dawns that your past actions have not yielded the desired results and that you need to make changes to your thought process in order to succeed. Learn to manage your emotions and express them in positive ways so that you start feeling deserving and worthy of success.
Instead of looking outwards for solutions, it is advisable to look inwards for solutions to your problems. When you start accepting responsibility, you are taking the first and definitive step towards change. It is important that you change your negative mindset so that you are able to achieve the salary increase and promotion that you desire.
The good news is that we are in control of our thoughts. We can harness our thoughts in any way we want. When we start filling our thoughts with positivity it tends to reflect in everything that we do. It is not just us who feel the difference in the attitude, even people around us may start noticing the positive change and this may help change their attitudes towards us.
You must learn to let go of doubts and self-limiting beliefs and fill your heart and mind with hope and optimism. You should have a clear vision of what you want to achieve. When you are passionate about you want to achieve, you may be able to put your best foot forward to achieve what you are capable of and you may realize your true potential.
When you start envisioning success in every area of your life you may be able to formulate an intentional desire to transform yourself. It is advisable to affirm, visualize and feel the emotion of success each day of your life.
You can create your own good fortune by harnessing your skills and making a concerted effort. When you are focused you can get what you desire from your career.
If you want to succeed in your endeavors you need to believe in them. Negative emotions should not find a place to rest in your mind. When you start seeing yourself as deserving of success, recognition of achievements and prosperity then your employer may start considering you as deserving of promotion and salary increase.
