The Chevy Impala has a 3.6 liter V-6 engine with six-speed transmission. The engine can run on regular unleaded petrol and produces 300 horsepower and 262-pound feet of torque. It has a smooth and quiet operation compared to other vehicles in the same size and weight class. The six-speed transmission has a wider gear span and this ensures fast acceleration and passing. Chevy Impala has an EPA highway rating of 29 miles per gallon. The gas mileage is comparable with other full sized sedans.
