The library has many layout controls and these include: 

  • BorderLayout, 
  • AbsoluteLayout, 
  • VerticalLayout and 
  • MatrixLayout.

The sap.ui.table library supports the interaction and display of table content. The sap.ui.ux3 library has container controls and these include DataSet, Feed, ExAct, ThingInspector and Shell. When the application is implemented it covers the entire screen and this allows you to integrate ux controls with non-ux controls. From a design perspective you may be able to get a greater flexibility due to this.

When installing the Sap UI5 you need to ensure that the tools and runtime are included so that it is ready to run immediately on installation. Before you get started it is advisable to check the list of browsers so that you are able to find those that meet your specific needs. The application may run differently on each browser and it is best to gain knowledge about them so that you are able to make the correct choice.
