Laugh Together and Stay Together

Couples who laugh together stay together say research. Actually you don't need research to prove it. If you look at the most successful relationships all over the world you will see one common thread running across.
People who laugh together are much happier in each other's company and they seem to grow and prosper in such a relationship. No two individuals are the same and there will always be difference of opinion between people. It is true across all relationships and more so among couples.
In an age where broken families have become more of a norm than an exception it is sad that one of the simplest principles of a successful marriage is often overlooked. If one tends to look and analyze all our relationships right from the time we were kids to our teenage years we have always tended to have the strongest relationships with a person with whom we could share a laugh.
Laugh and be happy together has been the underlying principle that has guided us throughout but one we are married we tend to forget this basic need and end up fighting more and laughing less.
There is nothing wrong in having a heated argument but once should have the maturity to look back at it and have a good laugh. There are many couples who in the middle of a heated argument tend to see the funnier side of things and end up laughing breaking the ice.
You can never be angry with a person with whom your share a hearty laugh. A good laugh has both physical and psychological benefits.
So laugh together and stay together.
